A hot tip about changing item information. This includes wholesale prices!
When you change the wholesale price or any other information about an item in your library, it does not automatically update in events you’ve already created. This is because we want you to control which events you update wholesale prices in and which ones you’d like to keep your historical prices.
For example, you don't want the prices in your last Valentine's Day event to be changed because you are updating wedding prices in June. And you don't want prices on an event you've ordered for last month (but haven't designed yet) to change because you are updating an upcoming order.
If you need to update an item’s wholesale price or information in an event, you have a few options:
• Open the event and manually edit the item details to save the updated information in that event.
• Update your wholesale prices and item information in your EveryStem library and use the Library Item Update feature to copy updated library item information (including wholesale price, vendor name, etc.) to your selected event(s).
• If an item has already been updated in your library you can also use the Swap Item Feature to update your item.

We strongly recommend that you send a list of your items to your wholesalers before placing your flower orders to confirm that your wholesale prices are accurate. Use the Library Item Updates feature to easily update and adjust your event pricing before sending your final order list to your wholesalers.
If prices change, update the prices using one of the methods listed above and adjust the recipes in your event to hit your ideal profit margin before finalizing your order counts with your wholesalers.
