When you enter flowers or items into EveryStem with slightly different vendor names
(even if the name is one letter or one character off) the software will list them under multiple vendors.
For Example:
AFC
Austin Flower Co
Austin Flower Co.
Austin Flower Company
These are all the same vendor, but if I enter the names as shown above when creating items, they will appear on seperate vendor export lists.
So, if you see very similar vendor lists, you will need to correct the vendor name on your items to
ensure they all match. Once you find the item and correct the vendor name to match the others, it will automatically remove multiple vendor lists and consolidate the items onto one vendor list. The same logic applies for any other item information.
If you are having issues with multiple vendor names that are very similar or seem identical make sure the same is spelled correctly on all items and that there are no spaces after the vendor name. It is frequently a simple empty space after the vendor name that needs to be removed.
A quick and easy fix!
(Note: The software also automatically removes blank spaces with nothing after.)
