Step 1. Scope it out. Get a good sense for what the client wants.
Step 2. Visualize and plan the overview of your installation.
Step 3. Set the expectation for you and your client. Be sure to communicate clearly on size, fullness, and color palette.
Step 4. Consider how you'll source your equipement, tools, and supplies and all the costs involved.
Step 5. Build your recipe. Include the costs of all your equipment, tools, supplies, hard goods, flowers, and greenery.
Step 6. Build your timeline. Consider how long it will take to build the installation.
Step 7. Check your labor costs and adjust your recipe taking into account step 6.
