How to use Functional Flower Recipes

Functional Flower Recipes can help you build formulas for your event and wedding designs.

They help to standardize your event designs and create consistency for you, your team, and your clients.

Start with the 4 F's.

Frame, Focal, Filler, Foliage.

Frame is the structure of your design. Your mechanics, hard goods, and supplies are the first things to add to your recipe.

Then add your Focals, Fillers, and Foliages. These are generic names for flowers that you can swap out for specific flower varieties in any season.

Here are a few examples of functional flowers and the specific varieties they can be swapped out in any recipe.

Focals: Roses, Dahlias, Peonies, Anemones, Mums

Fillers: Babies Breath, Spray Roses, Thistle, Sweet Peas

Foliages: Ruscus, Eucalyptus, Leather Leaf

You can build functional recipes in EveryStem to establish your event prices. You can start 2 ways.

1. Start with an ideal price point and build the recipe to hit that price. Watch this video.

2. Start with a dream recipe and let EveryStem calculate the price you need to charge. Watch this video.
